Master Your Labeling – Membership

If you’re a handcrafted soap or cosmetics maker, you already know that labeling is more than just design. It’s legal. It’s marketing. And it can be complicated. That’s why I created Master Your Labeling—a monthly membership designed to help you label your products legally, clearly, and confidently, without breaking the bank.

This program gives you the training, tools, and personal support you need to stop second-guessing and start labeling with clarity and peace of mind.

Why a Membership?

Most people just want to get their labeling and marketing right—but the legal language is complicated, the rules aren’t always obvious, and the stakes can feel pretty high.

On top of all that, it’s not once and done … it’s ongoing.

The questions don’t come up all at once – they come up one at a time, depending on what you’re doing at the time.

  • ... Can I put that statement on my label?
  • Is that wording okay for my product description?
  • ... How are the net contents supposed to be stated?
  • …. What’s the right name for this ingredient?
  • …. How the heck can I make this all fit?
  • …. I’ve been staring at this for hours – does it look all right?

Where do you go for answers when you need them? Compliance with the regulations doesn’t work on an “everybody said it was okay” or a best-guess basis.

I built MASTER YOUR LABELING as a way to fill in that gap. To create an easy way for you to get answers to your questions quickly, when you need them, and be sure that they are correct.

And I’ve priced it at just $37/month, because I want it to be accessible—even for makers who are just getting started. It’s all-inclusive, with no complicated levels or tiers. When you join, you have immediate access to everything. And there’s no contract; you can cancel at any time.

What comes in the membership?

Weekly Live Q+A Coaching Calls

Every week (Tuesday, 1pm Pacific Time), I host a live Q+A session on Zoom. Members can bring their questions—no matter how big or small. Maybe you’re unsure whether your ingredient list is in the right order, or you’re stuck on what you’re allowed to say about a product’s benefits.

You can also submit a label to be reviewed during the call. We discuss what needs to be changed and why, so you can go forward with certainty. (Don’t worry, I’m nice!)

And if you can’t make it live? No problem—replays of all the calls are available for you to watch any time.

Private Facebook Group

You’ll also get access to our members-only Facebook group—a place where you can ask questions, get feedback in between Q+A Zoom calls (or instead of them if you can’t attend). I’m in there regularly (at least once a day), answering questions and offering guidance.

Whether you’re stuck on a label, trying to interpret a regulation, or just want a second opinion, this is your safe and supportive space to ask.

Resource Library

We’re also growing a resource library, which contains tools and materials to help you along. Immediately on joining you’ll have access to the first 4 bonuses:

  • Label Design Planner: A fill-in-the-blanks template you can use to sketch your label layout before you go to print.
  • Label Verification Checklist: Make sure every required element is on your label (in the right way and the right place).
  • “Acceptable Words” List: A cheat sheet of persuasive terms that are safe to use (and which are not likely to trigger regulatory trouble).
  • Safety Substantiation Worksheet: Helps you document ingredient and product safety for MoCRA compliance.

COMING SOON!! – Ingredient Decoder

Ingredient Decoder will let you search commonly used ingredients and instantly see the details you need for your labels (including correct names for your ingredient declaration, potential allergens, usage limits, regulatory restrictions, and more). I’m starting with the top 50 essential oils. Every entry is reviewed and confirmed by me, so you can have confidence in the accuracy of the information.

More materials, resources, and tools will be added to the Resource Library over time. And all this comes with your membership right when you join.
